Christ is Enjoyable and Experienceable, J.D.

I am a Vice-President of a small privately owned company and have been married for over 16 years. My wife is a first grade school teacher. Both my wife and I grew up in Christian homes with parents who loved the Lord Jesus. Eventually we had to make our own choice to receive the Lord and then to continue to seek after Him.

After touching the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee through writings and conferences, I was impressed by the unveiling of the Word and to see that God has a plan and a deep longing for the church His Bride. Our life on this earth is for this plan and every day matters! Our God has a purpose and plan, but He will not force Himself on us. He is too great for that. God wants us to willfully choose Him day by day.

The writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee really open the Word to me and cause me to open my being to the Lord. What a revelation to see I can experience, enjoy and gain Christ day by day. Christ did not just die for me so that one day in the “sweet by and by” I would go to heaven – NO! Christ wants to be my moment by moment supply every day!

The ministry of these two Christians always has brought me to love and pursue the Lord more and more. My relationship with our lovely Lord Jesus continues to grow. Some life practices that have helped me are spending time with the Lord every day, praying over His Word and calling on His WONDERFUL NAME! Romans 10:12… “the same Lord is Lord of all and rich to all who call upon Him.”

II Tim. 2:22 “pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.”
